Who owns the code and the data?

You do. The source code, the designs and the database are transferred to you. The Apple, Google and Stripe accounts are registered in your name from the outset, so nothing requires transfer later.

Are the iOS and Android applications developed separately?

No. A single build produces two applications, each appropriate to its platform, together with the ability to deliver minor fixes to users without a further store review.

Who submits the applications to the stores?

We do, under your developer accounts. We prepare the listings, the screenshots and the review notes. Approval is granted by Apple and Google, and the timing of that step is determined by them.

At what stage can we use the product?

From an early stage. The application runs on your own device from the start of development and updates as work progresses, so you use the product as it is built rather than reviewing it at the end.
